Navigating our community’s substance abuse treatment system can be confusing and overwhelming. The Recovery Resource Center is a collaborative initiative dedicated to simplifying that process by providing a central point of information. The center’s staff and volunteers have the expertise to answer questions, initiate the treatment process, and make referrals as needed.

Addiction Prevention Coalition
The Addiction Prevention Coalition helps to prevent substance abuse by facilitating student led drug prevention programs, connecting individuals to recovery resources and fostering community collaborations. Their purpose is to improve public awareness of issues surrounding addiction, define projects to reduce the supply,demand, and impact of narcotics, and encourage the development of consistent methods of measurement.
R.O.S.S.
The Recovery Organization of Support Specialists (ROSS) seeks to further develop and advance the role of Recovery Support within the community while promoting the right of self-determination and personal responsibility in individuals pursuing recovery. The Recovery Organization of Support Specialists aims to advocate, empower and collaborate for any individual seeking recovery.
Courage for All Campaign
The Courage for All initiative is here to help. A partnership of the Alabama Department of Mental Health and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, it focuses on prevention, education, and awareness of opioid addiction. It is made possible by an Alabama Opioid STR Grant provided by SAMHSA.
