COMMUNITY MURAL CONTEST
Fellowship House is hosting a Mural Contest in partnership with Addiction Prevention Coalition! We will be hosting this as a social media contest and accepting submissions through the month of August! The top three finalists will be selected by a team of Fellowship House and Addiction Prevention Coalition staff! After that, the final mural will be left up to the community and voted upon on social media platforms! Once the winner has been selected, APC's INFOCUS high school student groups will execute your vision and mural on the Fellowship House wall!
What to do?
Create your mural design with these three terms in mind: empowering, uplifting, hopeful. Designs can be abstract, lifelike, or anything your creative mind desires! Then just upload your design into the submission form below!
Where will this mural be?
This mural will be inside the entry way of Fellowship House and seen by residents, family members, students, staff, and every guest that comes to the Fellowship House property!
Who Can Enter?
Anyone with ties to Fellowship House, Addiction Prevention Coalition, the recovery community, or you just feel compelled to promote recovery and healing through your art!
Who will actually paint the mural?
We would love your participation on September 24th if your artwork is selected, but an INFOCUS student group will be leading the mural painting! If you are not familiar with INFOCUS, they are peer led student chapters in area high schools that discuss the catalyst issues that may lead to substance use and abuse. The students also plan awareness events in their schools and communities. Find out more about Addiction Prevention Coalition's INFOCUS student groups here!
Submission open: August 1-August 31
