How To Help

Fellowship House Food Drive

At Fellowship House, we provide three meals a day, 365 days a year for 72 individuals in recovery, along with meals for anyone who walks up hungry or begins pretreatment. We also send food boxes with clients moving into transitional housing to help them stay stable as they rebuild their lives; totaling nearly 80,000 meals each year.

Like households everywhere, we’re feeling the impact of rising food costs and the recent SNAP/food stamp freeze. Many of our clients and their families rely on these benefits, and for those in treatment who aren’t yet working, the loss creates real hardship. Some worry about feeding their children or the added strain on grandparents caring for them. The freeze also creates a direct financial hit to Fellowship House, as part of our food funding comes through client SNAP benefits.

Food at Fellowship House is more than nourishment, it’s stability, dignity, and hope in recovery. Meals will never be in question, but these challenges are stretching  resources and limiting how far we can direct funds toward treatment and recovery services. Your support helps us keep every plate, and every person, full.
