Outpatient Program

Outpatient Services

Fellowship House provides outpatient substance use treatment and recovery support for individuals who are able to live in the community while participating in services. We work with individuals at different stages of recovery, with a particular focus on supporting those affected by opioid use disorder.

Outpatient treatment allows individuals to receive support while continuing to manage responsibilities such as work, family, and daily life. Our goal is to help each person develop the skills, support systems, and stability needed to move forward in recovery.

We have Level 1.0 Outpatient programs located in Jefferson and Walker County.

Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder

Medication can play an important role in treating opioid use disorder and supporting long-term recovery. Fellowship House incorporates medication-assisted treatment (MAT), also known as medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), into outpatient services as appropriate.

Medications such as buprenorphine/naloxone and naltrexone may help individuals manage opioid use disorder and reduce the risk of returning to opioid use. These medications work in different ways, and the appropriate option depends on an individual's needs, medical history, and treatment plan.

Medication is one component of recovery. It is combined with counseling, recovery planning, peer support, case management, and connections to additional resources.

Counseling and Recovery Support

Recovery involves more than addressing substance use alone. Outpatient services may include individual and group counseling, case management, peer support, and assistance connecting with community resources.

These services provide opportunities to develop coping skills, identify triggers, strengthen decision-making, address challenges affecting recovery, and build a support network. Individuals can work toward personal goals while practicing recovery skills in their everyday lives.

Every individual's recovery journey is different. Fellowship House works to help individuals understand available services and identify appropriate next steps based on their needs and program eligibility.

Whether you are seeking treatment for opioid use disorder, exploring medication options, or looking for ongoing recovery support, our team can help you learn more about the outpatient services available.
