The transitional apartment program assists with further development of self-discipline and independent living skills necessary for living outside of institutions. These needs are addressed through case management, group counseling, and engagement in the community. In the low intensity transitional program, clients share financial responsibilities with their roommates. Clients remain involved by serving as mentors for newer residents and participating in group activities, such as an Open House for family and friends, and potluck gatherings. A primary goal of this program is to provide a stable living environment, sober living experience, and recovery support until each individual is prepared to move to a more independent setting.
